Want Peace in a Stormy World?

by Kraig Josiah Rice

No Jesus, no peace
Know Jesus, know peace

Jesus Christ is God (John 1:1) and He can give you these benefits today if only you will accept Him and invite Him into your heart
(Revelation 3:20):

(1) love, (2) joy, (3) peace (in your heart), (4) gentleness,
(5) goodness, and (6) faith (Galatians 5:22). Added to these is the greatest gift of all ETERNAL LIFE.
(John 11:25 & 26).

You cannot work your way to heaven. It is God's free gift to you once you accept His Son "for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved".
(Romans 10:13; Ephesians 2:9).
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life". Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me".
(John 3: 16; 14.6).
These verses show that the only way to Jehovah God is through faith and repentance in Christ Jesus, who is the Messiah, God the Son, and Saviour of the world. If a man tries to enter by any other way, he is a thief and a robber
(John 10:1).

And why did Jesus come to this earth? "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners".
(I Timothy 1:15).

All men have sinned and God's death penalty has been passed upon all
(Romans 3:23; 6:23) and the only way to be acquitted from this eternal death penalty is to cast yourself upon the mercy of God and be washed clean by the shed blood of Jesus through repentance in His name.
(I John 1:7).

The prayer of sincere repentance will open the door to your heart and Jesus will take away the ugly black sin and replace it with Himself- this is what is called the "born again" experience and this is what makes people "Christians".
(John 3:3).
