"How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation?"
All men are lost,
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God"
God has provided an escape from eternal judgment. Jesus Christ is
that escape. He came into the world, not to condemn it, but to save
it. If you neglect to take Jesus as your Savior, how will you escape
God's judgment?
What are your plans for avoiding eternal judgment? Face the issue
squarely: life has an end; what then? Apart from Christ the college
professor has found no escape. The theologian has thought out no new
way. The scientist has discovered no detour around Hell. Even angels
or the devil himself can give you no plan of escape. In fact, God has
no way to save you except by Jesus Christ.
(Hebrews 2:3).
(Romans 3:23).
See John 14:6; Acts 4:12; John 3:18.
You can believe the Bible is true, that Jesus died for your sins;
that Jesus can save you; that there is a Hell; but, if you neglect
and put off getting saved through Christ, you are lost! You can have
Christian parents, go to church, say your prayers, be a church member,
be morally clean and honest, be sincere, but if you neglect Christ
and do not have Him as your personal Savior, you will be eternally lost.
Multitudes in Hell had plans for Heaven, but neglected to get saved
You are lost until you accept Christ. You don't get lost- you are lost
SO GREAT SALVATION!
(Matthew 22:1-14). Regardless of your good intentions, in spite of
the fact that you meant to or because you forgot or it slipped your
mind, no excuse will keep you from God's judgment. Without Christ you
are lost, and you will die having neglected the one and only remedy,
the Savior Jesus.
(John 3:18). Remember, the most intelligent, the most skillful,
the most clever and powerful of men have not found a cure for sin or
an escape from Hell outside of Jesus Christ. Even God Himself doesn't
have another way to save men- not one! Don't take any chances- to
neglect this one is fatal!
"How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation?"
Consider why you will be lost without Christ. The
salvation in Christ is so great that it saves all that will come.
That's right- all who will come, no exceptions. Your color, age,
past record, education, or talent will not bar you from Christ.
Regardless if you have been a drunkard, a murderer, a thief,
a whoremonger, or if your life is wrecked, this salvation is so great
that it will save you. It will blot out your past record, cleanse
you from sin, and give you power to live right. It will place you in
God's family by making you a son of God. It gives Heaven to a man who
deserves Hell and changes his life from sin's slavery to Christ's
victory. What a GREAT SALVATION - and you can have it free, through
Christ. To neglect it means to be doomed.
A doctor may save your life, but at the most he can only add a few
more years - eventually you will die. But listen: this
salvation is so great that it will save you forever. In Christ you
will have no need that will not be supplied. The provision for life
and death and eternity is complete in Christ, the only One who is
God's escape from punishment.
Jesus came to seek and to save the lost, and God says:

there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under
heaven given among men, whereby we must he saved"
