Help In Proving the Existence of God
(Index Page)

Many folks you talk to may tell you God does not exist. They may tell you that mankind invented the concept of God or that man evolved from the killer apes. Is there any proof that God exists? The rule for the concept of truth is: all truth is subject to verification. Since God is spirit and we cannot see Him, How does He verify His existence? Lessons 1 and 2 should help you answer these questions.

 Omniscient
 Deity

The Living Word Curriculum

Perhaps one of the most popular theology teaching helps in times past was:
What's Your Answer?
The Living Word Curriculum
A teaching and discussion guide for use with the book titled
Who Says? by Fritz Ridenour
published by Gospel Light in Glendale, California, in 1968

It's sad for me to say that this book and teaching course has gone the way of the dinosour- in other words, it has gone extinct. And this material is no longer easy to find. However, I am sharing it with you here because theology (the study of God) is very important.

If you live as if God doesn't exist
you better be right!

An Additional Lesson

Links to Lessons 1 and 2

I have placed Lessons 1 and 2 on two additional web pages due to the large volume of information. You can follow these links to each of the 2 teaching lessons so you can have all 2 lessons. Feel free to read this information, quote it, download it, use it to teach your students, or send it to others. The important thing is to shape our young people's minds in knowing the truth about the existence of God.

Lesson 1

Lesson 2

The Eternal First Cause:

The energy-material universe has not always existed. There was a beginning to the energy-material universe. Godless materialism is clearly unscientific. Godless materialism is a false philosophy of the last century, a myth.

What is the origin of the energy-material universe? It has not always been here. There must be a first cause of the energy-material universe, or it would not be here today. There must be a first cause that has existed forever, or there would be nothing in existence now. You cannot get something from nothing. There must then be a self-existent eternal first cause. The Bible declares:
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."
Genesis 1:1

In the Bible, God claims to be the eternal, self-existent First Cause of the universe.

A person might ask, "Where did God come from?" That person has missed the fact that there must be an eternal, self-existent first cause. Something must have always existed. It is not the energy-material universe. The eternal, self-existent First Cause calls Himself Jehovah, which means, "I AM."
Exodus 3:14-15

"There is a Creator of the energy-material universe. It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom; And by His understanding He has stretched out the heavens."
Jeremiah 10:12

"By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, And by the breath of His mouth all their host."
Psalm 33:6

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
John 1:1

Do you believe in God?"
